SAMS Standards

SAMS Standard for Visionary Leadership:
SAMS seeks to carry out faithfully its core Mission, Vision, and Values through the guidance and leadership of its Board of Trustees, to encourage its Trustees to embrace personally the sharing of the Gospel across cultures, and to create fruitful, supportive relationships among Trustees extending to the entire Society, the Anglican Communion, and the Body of Christ.

SAMS Standard for Financial Integrity:
In seeking to honor God through the resources He has given, SAMS conducts its finances in accordance with Biblical principles of stewardship, including the consistent adherence to established internal policies and the Godly reliance on outside and peer accountability.

SAMS Standard for Missionary Sending:
In seeking to fulfill the Great Commission, SAMS receives, trains, places and supports missionaries to be disciple-making witnesses in partnership with the worldwide Anglican/Episcopal Church.

SAMS Standard for Collaborative Relationships:
The Society is committed to building collaborative relationships that demonstrate the power of the Gospel, good stewardship, increased effectiveness, and unity in the Body of Christ.

SAMS Standard for Missional Community:
SAMS seeks to grow community in Christ by expanding prayer support for the work of the Society, developing a Biblical understanding of stewardship in the hearts of its Missionaries and Senders, and encouraging transformative relationships between those who go and those who send.
