Financial Accountability

SAMS’ dedication to financial accountability is unwavering.  As a Christian ministry, we acknowledge that we are accountable not only to our Senders, Missionaries, and Ministry Partners, but also to God.  Consequently, SAMS is firmly committed to maintaining good stewardship of the funds entrusted to us by our Senders.  We promise to use your financial gifts wisely and effectively in Christ’s name.

SAMS-USA is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt, non-profit organization that complies with all governmental regulations in effect.  Additionally, SAMS has been a member in good standing of the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA) every year since being received in 1990.  ECFA provides accreditation to leading Christian nonprofit organizations that faithfully demonstrate compliance with established standards for financial accountability, fundraising and board governance.  EFCA Members include Christian ministries, denominations, churches, educational institutions and other tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organizations.  Collectively, these more than 1,700 accredited EFCA member organizations represent nearly $20 billion in annual revenue.

SAMS undergoes audits annually by Maher Duessel, the Pennsylvania leader in not-for-profit accounting.  A copy of SAMS’ audited financial statement is available upon request.  Contact our Director of Accounting to request this document or to address any other financial questions.

For we are taking pains to do what is right, not only in the eyes of the Lord but also in the eyes of men.
