Ministry
After spending 4 years ministering full time in the Bunyoro-Kitara region in Hoima, Uganda, Shirley Morris has answered God's exciting call to St. John’s parish, Hartley Wintney, Diocese of Winchester, Southeast England. Her new call is global that will encompass the resources, people, customs and spiritual vitality of a triad: Uganda, the UK and the USA, to join forces and reach out in mission to wherever there is a need. She will serve in the parish as Minister of Pastoral Care as a Missionary Priest (out of Bunyoro Kitara Diocese). Shirley also has a House Group ministry, many speaking engagements, and is planning a mission team to go to Uganda next year.

Call
Shirley says this about her call to Englad: "BE PREPARED TO MOVE! This is the command I have been grappling with for a year now. Move where? Move when? Move why? So I left the house I was in assuming being robbed three times was good enough reason and moved elsewhere. But the command continued persistently. And as I prayed about it (and had others do so too) slowly and steadily the Lord awakened my reluctant heart and mind to grasp this next saga of my life. BE PREPARED TO MOVE TO EUROPE! This was quite a surprise--from Africa to Europe??? If I hadn’t been so stunned, I would have giggled!"

Prayer Challenges
Please pray for Shirley as she is facing a great challenge of reaching out to a society where secularism is alive and the norm. Also pray for her because living expenses in England are three times what she experienced in Uganda.
