Ministry
Jack and Mary McDonald and their two children, Ashby and Jack have served in Santa Cruz, Bolivia. Their home church is Truro Episcopal in Fairfax, Virginia. They were jointly sent by SAMS and Christian Veterinary Mission. Mary is a veterinarian and worked to bring Christian care to the rural poor. Jack who is a banker worked with Christian micro-enterprise and micro-credit programs to help community development. Although they have been called back home to the United States, the McDonald's will continue to serve as associate missioaries and will make short-term trips back to Bolivia.

Mary previously worked for a student ministry and Jack has had a long-term interest in Latin America. Mary entered into training as a veterinarian knowing she wanted to serve in missions.
