| This page is maintained and updated by Rene Crow MONDAY MORNING MINUTE - On Sunday Afternoon, July 3rd. Hola - de Florida! I have been away a long while, but I am on my way back to Honduras July 5th. It has been an eventful three months away, traveling through Texas (Corpus Christi to see my sister April), California (to Fresno - Link Care, for missionary care and restoration; the Redwoods to see my brother Tom; Sequoia and Yosemite to be refreshed); Las Vegas (to visit with son, Jeff and family - Yvonne, Melissa and Amanda), and finally to Albuquerque to my home church, St. Marks on the Mesa - and to visit with son, Patrick, friends and supporters throughout the Diocese of the Rio Grande! These past few days have been spent in Orlando and Ormand Beach, Florida visiting with Companion Diocese of Central Florida supporters and partners in ministry in Honduras. We will travel together from Church of the Holy Child to Tegucigalpa, where CHC will begin their new companion relationship with Santa Maria La Virgen de Mercedes in Rancho del Obispo, El Paraiso. Praise God for his faithfulness, grace, mercy, healing, provision, affirmation, inspiration, guidance, and love during these months away - not only for me, but also for those who have labored on in El Paraiso. Special thanks also to Bruce and Jane Ergood of Ohio and Dick and Eva Breadner from Canada, who gave so generously of their time and talents to stand in for me, and to courageously pick up where I left off with teams, projects, details, communications and coordination of the million details it takes to keep things in motion for summer teams in Honduras. Heaven has a special jewel for your crowns, I'm sure - you are all champions to me! I am especially pleased to announce that I can again begin posting the Monday Morning Minute on this webpage, regularly - to once again keep our friends and partners informed of the work the Lord is doing through us in our deanery and diocese of Honduras. Please tell others to check into this website regularly from now on to read all about it! I will no longer have the long email list to manage and it will your choice to check in with us as you are able. We keep you in our prayers, and ask that you remember all of us as we continue our work in the deanery. Thank you ALL for your generous response to SAMS and my appeal for financial support during this time. Your response has made it possible to return to the field well-funded (not sure yet, if fully funded), but reasonably enough to believe that the Lord still needs and wants me to continue my time of service in Honduras. I'll be posting photos, and news here soon - and I hope you will write to me at renecrow@sams-usa.org and let me know you are back with us, too. Until then, blessings! In His Grace, Rene Crow SAMS missionary from Diocese of the Rio Grande to Honduras
