Our intern opportunities last from 1 month to 1 year. Our interns are mentored by our long-term missionaries in the field and work independently on a project determined by the mentoring missionary.

Individuals must be high school graduates and 18 years of age before they leave for the field. Application can be made before the individual turns 18 but the intern cannot depart for their host country if they are under the age of 18. All applicants will complete an interview process to determine their eligibility and all interns will raise their own support based on SAMS' missionary support raising strategy.
